Salman Khan: A Superstar who has defeated Sixty

Salman Khan

A Superstar who has defeated Sixty

On 27 December 2025 Salman Khan turned sixty. By looking at him, it seems that he has embraced his age i.e. Sixty Years very quietly and gracefully. Sixtieth birthday was like any other birthday for him. In India the age of sixty years is considered as retirement age generally and for central government especially. Hence, people celebrate sixtieth birthday with much fanfare because it is special for them. After completing sixty years they retire from their service or active profession and become senior citizens in the real sense of the term. They plan their second innings of life post sixty years. Most Indians say that after retirement i.e. after completing sixty years they will lead a quiet life. They will pursue their hobbies like reading, writing, travelling or whatever it may be. They will go for walking with their friends, of course, retired ones and read newspapers in the mornings. They will relax throughout the day. Most importantly, they would spend more time with their grandchildren. Many people enjoy the second innings of their life as they had planned. Some people may not prove to be so lucky to fulfil their post retirement plans.

The point here is where one should fix Salman Khan in this whole scheme of so called ‘Post Retirement Indian Planning’. Let us ask some questions in this regard and try to answer them then only we will be able to come to proper conclusion. Salman has turned sixty, it’s a fact but does he look like sixty years old. And the answer is big NO. When you turn sixty your face, body and most importantly your attitude openly shows or reflects to others that YES, you have turned sixty. Your face looks pale with visible wrinkles. Your body shows a hunch. And lastly a person completing sixty years, from the bottom of his or her mind accepts that he or she has become sixty years old, hence, in every act of theirs they start behaving like a retired person.  When we apply these certain criteria of ageing, we realise that Salman doesn’t look at all as a person who has completed sixty years. What about retirement? It seems the word retirement does not have a place in his dictionary. He is working with the prowess of tiger with his timetable full till 2027 with the films like Maatrubhumi, Raja Shivaji, Tiger Vs Pathaan as per media reports. Other projects will also definitely fall in line in coming years.

Salman walks straight at sixty unlike any other ordinary retired person. His face does not have too many wrinkles like other sixty-year-old guys. Most importantly he has flamboyant style and swag even at sixty. By number he is sixty years old but by attitude and style he looks like around thirty-five to forty years. He walks like youngster. He talks like youngster. He speaks like youngster. He smiles like youngster. He exercises like youngster. He never behaves like a sixty-year-old man because he is fit physically. Due to his strict regimen of exercise and healthy diet he has an energy like youngster and that is why he looks much younger and behaves like the one. Hence, one can say that Salman is the superstar who has proved in the real sense of the term that Sixty is just a number. Through his behavior one gets the message that one should exercise regularly, keep on working hard, forget about retirement and treat every new day as an opportunity and grab it.

Salman you have defeated the age. People say that you are most eligible bachelor but if it is said that you are eternal youngster as well it would not be an exaggeration. Best of Luck to this youngster of sixty years for his new endeavours and upcoming projects. And, yes, a Big Thank you to you for spreading awareness among youngsters about physical fitness. Most of the youngsters are addicted to hitting gym taking inspiration from you. This addiction of gym is definitely good for them.
